The Cathedral

Dressed in Eternal green,
a strong spine points heavenward and
branches sway to the tune of the breeze
while the base is rooted in grassy earth.
Its Spire, which rises conical
from great expanse to a single needle
at the highest most tip,
proudly points skyward.
Mysteries within beckon His children
to explore child-life
beneath bowered coolness.
